fhgaacenc is a command-line encoder through which the FhG AAC encoder included with Winamp can be used.
The default Nullsoft MPEG-4 Audio Decoder which comes with Winamp 5.12 now supports all MP4/M4A audio files (with AAC/AAC+ content), with no need to install any other 3rd-party plugin(s). It still doesn't support drm-protected.M4P files, ie. Of the type downloaded/purchased via iTMS (ie. You need ThomasW's plugin for.m4p support). Re: Winamp AAC commandline encoder I found something strange: when I use the stdin encoder through regular commandline, it gives correct results, but when I use the plugin it adds a small piece of audio (about 0.07 secs) in the beginning and the end of the audio file. WinLAME is an easy to use encoder for many audio formats, including MP3, Opus, Ogg Vorbis and more. WinLAME lets you read in audio tracks from CDs or encode audio files from your hard drive. The intuitive wizard-style user interface makes it easy to set up encoding settings. Multicore CPUs are used to parallelize encoding tasks.
An updated version (20151024) with some fixes by Case is included with the foobar2000 Free Encoder Pack.[1]

NSV Audio Encoding | Home |
Audio encoding with AAC Plus.
Submitted by Jkey
You can use the Winamp enc_aacplus.dll to encode AAC Plus audio for your NSV stream. You must copy the enc_aacplus.dll file from the WinampPlugins directory and place it in the the NSV tools folder. You must rename the enc_aacplus.dll file to nsv_coder_aacp.dll file.
You also need to copy the nscrt.dll file from your Winamp player. Go to the WinampPlugins directory and copy the nscrt.dll file into the NSV tools folder.
Configurihng AAC Plus Encoding.

You can achieve the best blend of quality and encoding speed by using the following configurations in the AAC Plus encoder:
32kbs
44100hz
Parameteric Stereo
Low bit rate (Less than 36 kbs) MP3 audio encoding using LAME.

You must download a copy of the latest LAME encoder lame_enc.dll. You must then replace the lame_enc.dll in the NSVtool package with the latest LAME encoder that you have obtained. You will have more options on the bit rate using this new compiled lame audio encoder. NSV audio can be streamed as low as 10 kbps audio using this method.
You can download a compiled version of the latest lame_enc.dll from here www.free-codecs.com.

Winamp Aac Encoder Download
There is a work around that will get audio fed into a stream from Winamp. In NSVcap, make sure your soundcard is checked under the devices menu. Next double-click the mini speaker icon in the system tray.
